The AE (Advanced Energy) MDX-L18 is an 18kW Magnetron Power Supply.
The MDX-L is a DC magnetron source by rectifying a switching frequency of 17 - 31 kHz.

  • The MDX-L series of supplies is extremely easy to use and lowest in cost.
    
  • All that is required is analog input control signals 0-10 V DC to control output POWER, VOLTAGE, or CURRENT. Likewise,
    
  • three buffered precision analog outputs (0-10VDC) "POWER" , "VOLTAGE", and "CURRENT" in real time.
    
  • Use $30 DC digital panel meters and inexpensive "volume control" potentiometers for full control and status display.
    
  • Use low cost DAC and ADC boards in a single PC to control your entire system.
  
  Output regulation
  The MDX can be used as a power, current, or voltage source, depending on the method of output regulation selected. Since setpoint levels are stored in nonvolatile memory, they can be used in recovering from input power interruptions and to ensure repeatability from run to run.
