The Stream View SV 970 is a Real-time Compressed Digital Video Monitoring System that can handle up to four transport streams and constantly check that they conform to the DVB specification ETR290 and the ATSC specifications.
The configuration offered here has 2 video channels.
In a modern broadcast environment, transport streams originate from a variety of sources. The sources may be multiplexed many times along the transmission chain to form a composite stream for final transmission. The Stream View can be used at different points along the chain to ensure that the transport streams remain conformant after the processing steps.
